¿Qué es la dispepsia?

Dispepsia o indigestión es una alteración digestiva cuyos síntomas son:  ardor, acidez, dolor, flatulencia, hinchazón, llenura, nauseas y vómitos. El malestar se siente en la parte media superior del estómago.

Este padecimiento puede clasificarse en dos tipos:  la dispepsia orgánica y la funcional.

  1. La dispepsia orgánica es la que se debe a una causa o lesión orgánica, como por ejemplo una úlcera, una gastritis, erosiones (pequeñas heridas) en el estómago, entre otras causas.
  2. La dispepsia funcional es el tipo de la enfermedad cuyos síntomas se presentan sin una causa aparente, sin que sean provocados por un problema orgánico.

Las recomendaciones de este artículo se aplican principalmente a la dispepsia funcional. En caso de que usted padezca de dispepsia orgánica u otra condición, lo recomendable sería acudir al médico para que le indique las  pruebas y análisis necesarios y así poder establecer un diagnóstico.

Plantas medicinales principales recomendadas

Achicoria, anís, canela, culantro, culen, diente de león, genciana, hierbabuena, hinojo, manzanilla, melisa, menta, regaliz, ruda (dolor de estomago), tilo.

Hierbas recomendadas

  • Abuta, ajo, algarrobo, áloe vera o sábila, ajenjo.
  • Diente de león, anís, caléndula, cola de caballo.
  • Consuelda, copaiba, eneldo, fenogreco.
  • Frambuesa roja (hojas), genciana, hinojo.
  • Jengibre o kion (indigestión), lino (semillas), llantén.
  • Malvavisco (raíz), manzanilla.
  • Menta (nauseas), olmo americano (indigestión).
  • Ortiga, palillo, perejil, romero, regaliz.
  • Ruibardo, sangre de grado, tomillo, planta ubo.

Dieta natural para la dispepsia

En ayunas, opciones:

  • Un vaso de limonada de dos limones, sin azúcar.
  • Dos vasos de jugo de piña.
  • Un vaso de agua tibia con el zumo de dos limones y agregar miel de abeja.
  • Ensalada de palta (aguacate) + apio + sal.
  • Extracto de albahaca.
  • Extracto de rabanito.
  • Dos vasos de extractos de zanahoria + betarraga.
  • Jugo de papaya pintona (ni verde ni madura), dos vasos.
  • Medio vaso de zumo de lechuga.
  • Un vaso de zumo de tomate.
  • Dos vasos de zumo de betarraga (para la ansiedad).
